Annual Well Exams

What is a Well Exam?

  • At your yearly check up, your healthcare provider completes a thorough medical exam and monitors your health by administering the recommended screenings and immunizations for your age and managing the treatment of any ongoing, stabilized conditions.

  • Your insurance may cover this service.

What Is Not a Well Exam?

  • If your provider discovers an undiagnosed or uncontrolled problem or you want to address an important issue during your well exam— your healthcare provider will need to evaluate and assess the problem and formulate a treatment plan.

  • This service is not part of your well exam, whether it is provided to you during the visit or at a follow up, and your insurance will not cover the service until your deductible is met.
